Hino’s fully automatic truck, the XZU600LA comes with an upgraded safety package consisting of an SRS airbag and Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). This makes Hino the first in the country to offer such features on a truck of this kind. With a true automatic transmission, drivers get less fatigued thereby improving attentiveness on the road. All these add to the overall safety of the driver, vehicle and its cargo.
Furthermore, a fully automatic transmission eliminates all hassles on clutch maintenance and repairs. This type of transmission also helps provide a more consistent fuel consumption. The Hino 300 series comes in 11 variants for a wide range of loading capacity from 3,800 to 8,500 kg Gross Vehicle Weight. Equipped with a Euro 4-compliant N04C engine, these trucks pack superior power at 136 PS for the XZU302 to 600L and 150 PS for the XZU710 to 730L. On torque, these trucks pull up to 390 Nm for the 302 to 600L and up to 420Nm on the 710 to 730L series. That’s higher power and efficiency compared to most light duty trucks in the market to tackle more load at any road condition.
The new Hino 300 series also features upgraded amenities such as new USB and Bluetooth-capable entertainment system, built-in 4-piece air conditioning vents (select variants) as well as power doors and windows and overhead consoles for added convenience.
