ILOILO City – A security guard lost his driver’s license while a Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) employee lost his passport. Both sought the help of the police in finding the missing items.
Security guard Jerald Tubongbanua, 22, reported to the Molo police station that he found his driver’s license missing upon alighting from his motorcycle at around 8 p.m. on Jan. 12 on M.H. del Pilar Street in the district.
The nonprofessional driver’s license must have slipped from this pants’ pocket and he failed to notice, Tubongbanua said. He tried to look for it but to no avail, he told the police.
On the other hand, BIR employee Archie Delgado told the police he lost his Philippine passport.
The 37-year-old resident of Savannah Subdivision in Barangay Abilay Norte, Oton, Iloilo discovered it was missing on Dec. 29, 2017 yet but reported to the Molo police just this Jan. 13, a police report showed.
Delgado said he last saw it inside a drawer in his office on M.H. del Pilar Street, Barangay Taal, Molo. He believed he misplaced it. He said he tried to look for it but to no avail./PN
