BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Hacienda Fidel, Barangay Tortosa, Manapla, Negros Occidental.
The 40-year-old resident Roderick Clarito was caught after selling suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Manapla police head Senior Inspector Julius Caesar Colado said Clarito had been under surveillance for months.
Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were five sachets of suspected shabu including the buy-bust item, police said.
Clarito was detained at the Manapla municipal police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
