BACOLOD City – A man believed to be high on drugs stabbed his two sleeping daughters in Sitio Sibucao, Barangay Banago.
His name was withheld by the Women and Children Protection Desk of Bacolod City Police Station 3, where was detained.
According to case investigator Corporal Jennelyn Gallego, the suspect took a pair of scissors and stabbed his three-year-old and two-year-old daughters on their necks while they were asleep around 6:45 a.m. on June 6.
Gallego said they are preparing frustrated parricide charges against the suspect.
The victims already received medical treatment at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital, she added. (With a report from PNA/PN)
