ILOILO City – Two suspected drug dealers from Negros Occidental were arrested in a police operation in Barangay Sto. Niño Norte, Arevalo district.
Ron Jacob Mirafuentes, 22, of Barangay Sto. Rosario, Binalbagan town and Jonas Largo, 29, of Barangay San Isidro, Toboso town sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000, a police report showed.
Police further recovered from them 12 sachets of suspected shabu, P1,170 cash, three lighters, two improvised tooters, a .45-caliber pistol, a magazine with six live ammunition, and a car, the report stated.
Mirafuentes and Largo were detained at the Police Station 1 lockup facility. They were facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
