BACOLOD City – Police arrested two men in a drug buy-bust operation on corner BS Aquino-Aguinaldo streets in Barangay 2.
Eight sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from the 36-year-old Lino Cuadra of Barangay Estefania and 37-year old Jefferson Gamarza of Barangay Handumanan.
Cuadra and Gamarza were caught after they sold suspected illegal shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000 around 12 a.m. on Friday, a police report showed.
Also recovered from them were P1,500 cash, a coin purse and a cellphone, it added.
The suspects were detained in the lockup cell of the Bacolod City Police Office.
They were facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
