BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu valued at around P15,000 was recovered in a drug buy-bust operation in Sitio Niño, Barangay Handumanan.
The suspected illegal drugs contained in four sachets were confiscated from tricycle driver Charles Ortaliz Jr., a police report showed.
Ortaliz, a resident of Barangay Handumanan, was caught after selling drugs to an undercover police officer for P200 around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
Antidrug personnel of Police Station 10 staged the sting operation.
Ortaliz was detained. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, were filed against him./PN
