ILOILO City – Twins suspected of illegal drug pushing were arrested in Boracay Island, a spot report from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) showed.
Jeric Fernando Sual and Jerry Fernando Sual were captured by PDEA Region 6 operatives in a buy-bust operation at around 9:40 p.m. Saturday in Sitio Ambulong, Barangay Manoc-manoc.
Both 26 years old (born March 19, 1992), the suspects were residents of Barangay Toledo, Nabas, Aklan but staying in Sitio Ambulong, Barangay Manoc-manoc at the time of their arrest, the spot report stated.
A source from the PDEA Region 6 confirmed to Panay News that the agency staged the operation and that the suspects were twins.
Government antidrug agents seized from the suspects four plastic packs of suspected shabu.
The twins also yielded a black mobile phone and P3,500 cash including the P100 buy-bust money, the report further stated.
The PDEA spot report said the suspects were taken to Kalibo, Aklan after their arrest.
