AKLAN – A drug pushing suspect was arrested in Sitio Bung-aw, Barangay Manoc-manoc, Malay.

Michael John B. Yap, 25, was a resident of Barangay Lamputong, Culasi, Antique.

He was nabbed after handing over a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer for P4,500 around 5:25 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4

The operation was carried out by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 6, the PDEA-Aklan Interdiction Unit, and the Malay Municipal Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit.

The buy-bust money and more or less three grams valued at P20,400 were recovered.

Yap will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
