ILOILO – Two drug pushing suspects were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Calapdan, Estancia at about 4:38 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 9.
The operation by the Estancia Municipal Police Station (MPS) resulted in the arrest of alias “Toto,” male, of Barangay Lumbia, and alias “Jongjong,” male, of Barangay Tanza, both in the said town.
Lieutenant Renzo Martinez, chief of Estancia police, said 11 sachets of suspected shabu, including the buy-bust item, weighing more or less 20 grams and worth P136,000, and the P1,500 buy-bust money were recovered.
The two suspects, currently detained at the Estancia MPS jail facility, are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002)./PN
