BACOLOD City – Two men were nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 6-A, Victorias City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
They were the 43-year-old Esmeraldo Navaja and 34-year-old Gilbert Jamola, both residents of the village.
Navaja is listed as a “high-value” drug target in the Victorias City police station. Jamola, meanwhile, is a newly identified drug personality.
They were arrested around 9 p.m. on Thursday after they sold suspected shabu to an undercover police officer for P400.
A total of four sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from the suspects. Drug paraphernalia and P150 believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions were also seized from them.
Navaja and Jamola were detained in the lockup facility of the Victorias City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
