NUMANCIA, Aklan – Combined forces of the police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a drug pushing suspect in a buy-bust operation in Sitio Agila, Barangay Tabangka here on Dec. 10.
An operative bought from Ryan Florencio a sachet of suspected shabu for P1,000, PDEA reported.
It was learned that Florencio previously surrendered to the police in line with the Philippine National Police’s tokhang campaign.
After his arrest on Thursday, Florencio was taken to the Numancia police station.
The anti-drug operation was staged by the Aklan Police Drug Enforcement Unit, Numancia municipal police station, PDEA-Aklan, and the Aklan Highway Patrol Group.
