ILOILO City – A 32-year-old man tried to enter a restaurant in Barangay Poblacion Tabuc, Panay, Capiz where the Junior and Senior Prom of a high school was ongoing. The police arrested him.
Regie Basas of the same barangay was detained at the municipal police station Friday last week for alarm and scandal.
He was insistent on entering Dante’s Taberna Restaurant around 9 p.m., said Police Officer 3 Rey Falco.
The junior and senior high school students of Pawa National High School were holding their JS Prom there at that time.
Falco said Basas previously turned himself in to the municipal police station in line with the Philippine National Police’s Oplan Double Barrel against illegal drugs. Basas claimed to be a drug user, said the police officer./PN
