ILOILO – A drug pushing suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Anilao Municipal Police Station (MPS) in Barangay Mostro, Anilao, Iloilo on Wednesday night, May 10.
The 42-year-old Erwin Singson was a resident of Barangay Poblacion Ilaya, Sara, Iloilo.
Police Captain Maria Fe Umiten, acting chief of the Anilao MPS said, in an interview with RMN Iloilo, they have been monitoring the suspect.
Singson allegedly supplied illegal drugs in the town, added Umiten.
Three sachets of suspected shabu were recovered, weighing more or less six grams and with an estimated value of P44,200.
“Gagamit lang ko ya wala ko gabaligya. Sa one thousand [pesos] nga gina padala ko sa trisikad driver para magbakal, gina suhulan ko siya tag-100 ukon 150,” said Singson, adding that he makes his purchase in Barangay Desamparados, Jaro.
The suspect is being held at the Anilao MPS./PN
