ILOILO City – A drug suspect was arrested in an entrapment operation on Simon Ledesma Street, Jaro district.
Allan Bensolan, 35, was nabbed after he sold a sachet of suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer around 12:50 p.m. on Tuesday, a police report showed.
However, Bensolan’s alleged cohort Alexis Jhon Lim (subject of the operation) managed to escape.
Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 6 staged the operation.
When frisked, several sachets of the suspected illegal drugs valued at around P35,000 was confiscated from Bensolan, the report added.
Aside from suspected shabu, P34,400 money and drug paraphernalia were also recovered.
Bensolan was brought to the custodial facility of PDEA-6 for proper disposition./PN
