BACOLOD City – A newly identified drug suspect was caught in Purok Balinday, Barangay 2, a police report showed.
Antidrug personnel from Police Station 2 arrested the 21-year-old resident Romeo Araiz around 11 a.m. on Saturday after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover officer for P200.
A total of six sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from Araiz.
When frisked, the police also recovered a .38-lcaliber revolver from his possession.
Now detained in the lockup cell of Police Station 2, Araiz was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and the election gun ban./PN
