KALIBO, Aklan – Police arrested a man in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Andagao in this capital town.
He was identified as 40-year-old Wilson Sevilla, a police report showed.
Sevilla was caught after he allegedly sold shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000 around 8:30 p.m. on Thursday.
His rented house yielded nine more sachets of suspected illegal drugs and other drug paraphernalia after the police operatives raided his room on the strength of a search warrant.
Sevilla was detained in the Kalibo police station’s lockup facility.
He was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (WithAkeanForum/PN)
