BACOLOD City – A buy-bust operation of the police in Barangay 13, Victorias City, Negros Occidental led to the arrest of a 29-year-old man.
But suspect Mark Belarma faces not one but two charges – violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act 9165) and violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (Republic Act 10591).
Cops reported having recovered the following from the buy-bust:
* four plastic sachets of suspected shabu worth P20,400
* marked money of P500
* P300 cash
* a modified .380 revolver with ammunitions
* drug paraphernalia
Belarma was taken to the Victorias City police station./PN
