BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a buy-bust operation in Barangay 21, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Forty-eight-year-old Anel Gavilangoso of Barangay Caduhaan, Cadiz City yielded eight sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P3,000, police said.
Gavilangoso was nabbed after he allegedly sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P400 around 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday.
Aside from the suspected shabu, a cellphone, P290 cash and drug paraphernalia were also seized.
He was detained in the Victorias City police station’s custodial facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
