KALIBO, Aklan – A Sangguniang Kabataan member was arrested in a buy-bust operation.
Renz Lloyd Milloroso Rasgo, 24, was a resident of Barangay Dongon West, Numancia, Aklan.
The May 1 buy-bust was conducted by the Aklan police office’s Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit (PDEU), Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and Kalibo municipal police station along the provincial highway of Barangay Mabilo at around 6 p.m.
But Rasgo, also a freelance photographer, denied he sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover cop.
“Matagal na akong hindi gumagamit ng weeds o marijuana bago pa ang Tokhang,” he stressed.
The suspect said he is willing to undergo a drug test.
Cops claimed to have seized a heat-sealed transparent sachet of suspected shabu.
PDEU chief Lieutenant Colonel Frenzy Andrade said the suspect was monitored for more than two years.
“Siya ang source ng ilegal na druga at nagtuturo ng mga online transactions ng mga nadakip natin sa Tambak, New Washington at Andagao, Kalibo,” said Andrade.
Andrade added: “Halos mga estudyante ang kliyente niya, may magulang na humingi sa atin ng tulong.”
He described the suspect as “isa siyang high-value personality.”
