ILOILO City – A newly identified drug suspect was arrested in a sting operation in Barangay Sambaludan, Oton, Iloilo.
Ryan Gonzaga, a resident of the village, was caught after he sold a sachet of shabu to an undercover officer for P500, a police report showed.
Antidrug personnel from the Oton police station staged the operation around 11 p.m. on Wednesday.
Seven more sachets of shabu were recovered from Gonzaga when frisked, police said.
Gonzaga was detained in the lockup facility of the municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, will be filed against him./PN
