BACOLOD City – Police arrested a drug suspect in a sting operation in Barangay Pacol, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Five sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P2,500 were seized from 18-year-old resident Jesber Espero, a police report showed.
Police officers staged the entrapment operation which led to the arrest of Espero around 6 p.m. on Nov. 5.
Aside from suspected shabu, a P200 marked money was also recovered from him, the report added.
The suspect was detained in the custodial facility of the Bago City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
