ILOILO City – Two individuals tagged by police as newly identified drug suspects were found in possession of more or less 25 grams of suspected shabu worth P170,000 following a buy-bust operation in this city.
The Iloilo City Police Station 1 arrested Jailer Mamon and Maria Niña Suelo at around 6:15 p.m. on Dec. 23 at a hotel on Delgado Street, Barangay Ed Ganzon, City Proper.
Also recovered from their possession were the buy-bust money and several non-drug items.
The arrested persons are presently detained at the ICPS-1 custodial facility and will face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
