ILOILO City — A suspected drug personality was found dead along Muelle Loney in City Proper yesterday.
Forty-two-year-old James Espinosa of Brgy. Zamora-Melliza, City Proper, died of fatal gunshot wounds in the chest and abdomen.
His body was seen by bystanders at about 3:30 a.m.
Police have not yet identified the perpetrators as of press time.
They were almost sure, however, that the motive was drug-related.
Muelle Loney Barangay Captain Peter Abadiano said he had received information that the victim was a drug user.
Chief Insp. Alexander Rosales, Police Station 1 chief, said he had tasked his investigator to conduct a thorough probe and find witnesses who could help them identify the culprits./PN
