BACOLOD City – Operatives of the San Carlos City police station and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 6 arrested a resident of Barangay 1, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental.
Kirk Morris Tambiga was in possession of suspected illegal substances and an unlicensed firearm, police said.
Recovered from the suspect during the buy-bust operation on Tuesday were about a gram of suspected shabu, 5 grams of suspected marijuana, a .38 revolver with four live ammunition, a holster, and P710 cash.
Tambiga faces charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act./PN
