ILOILO City – A drunken man hit a resident of Barangay Hoskyn, Jordan, Guimaras with an iron pipe, a police report showed.
The 45-year-old Rosque Galon, a resident of Barangay Hoskyn, was rushed to St. Paul’s Hospital in this city for treatment.
Police said the incident happened around 12 p.m. on May 10. Galon was lying on a bench when the 47-year-old Rey Saldivar, also a resident of Barangay Hoskyn, struck him with the iron pipe.
Saldivar surrendered to the police and was detained in the lockup cell of the Jordan police station./PN
