BACOLOD City – A 52-year old man drowned in Barangay Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.
Himamaylan City police said the victim identified as alias “Jun”, a resident of the said village, was found lifeless along the shoreline around 8 a.m. on Thursday, January 2.
Initial investigation revealed that the victim left their house around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 1, and slept on his pump boat.
Police said the victim was drunk and allegedly fell to the waters.
Personnel of the Himamaylan City Rescue Unit rushed the victim to the City Health Office but he was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician.
