ILOILO City – A 23-year-old man hanged himself inside their house in Barangay Burias, Mambusao, Capiz.
Jeryl Malejana died at the Mambusao District Hospital where he was taken on Nov. 22.
From what the police gathered from family members, Malejana came home drunk around 8 p.m. and proceeded to the toilet.
Malejana’s mother Merlina checked the toilet when her son failed to come out after 30 minutes.
Merlina found her son hanging from the ceiling of the toilet. He used a belt around his neck.
The family believed Malejana was upset; he and a girlfriend working abroad quarreled./PN
