ILOILO City – Police arrested a drunken man in Barangay Taft North, Mandurriao district.
The 23-year-old Arjohn Muyco of Barangay Dungon B, Jaro punched the 33-year-old laborer Andre John King Caceres of Barangay Simsiman, Lambunao, Iloilo, a police report showed.
The incident happened at a restobar around 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police said.
According to investigation, Caceres was having a drinking binge with friends when Muyco – who was also at the bar seated in another table – stood up and hit him on the face.
It was however not immediately clear if what triggered the assault.
Muyco was detained in the lockup cell of the Mandurriao police station./PN
