ILOILO City – A 47-year-old construction worker was stabbed by a drunken coworker in Barangay Tambal, Janiuay, Iloilo.
Allan Sacari of Bago City, Negros Occidental was currently recuperating at the Janiuay District Hospital. He sustained stab wounds on the left shoulder.
The suspect was identified as the 27-year-old Bryan Escote of Bogasong, Antique.
From what police investigators have gathered, Sacari and Escote had a heated argument while having drinks around 7:45 p.m. on May 16, prompting the latter to attack the former. But it was not immediately established what triggered the altercation.
The suspect fled but was arrested by the Janiuay police hours later. He was now detained and charged./PN
