BACOLOD City – He was hacked to death, police said.
The 43-year-old Renante Poras of Barangay Bunga, Salvador Benedicto, Negros Occidental died of multiple hack wounds on the back, a police report showed.
Police said Poras was on his way home around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday when his 35-year-old neighbor Ruel Purisima attacked him with a bolo in Purok Maisan.
Officers of the Salvador Benedicto police station were still locating the suspect as of this writing.
They were also identifying the motive in the hacking./PN
