ILOILO City – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is targeting over 200 sari-sari (retail) store owners in Western Visayas to be part of the nationwide online advancement program to help scale up their operations and shift to a more sustainable business model.
The “Tindahan Mo, e-Level Up Mo!” program offers online training sessions starting June 26 until October, DTI Region 6 director Rachel Nufable said on Friday, June 21.
“DTI will hold virtual sessions covering five key modules. This includes digitizing operations, expanding market access, and sustainable consumption practices with practical financial, marketing, and sustainability tips,” she said.
The program is set every last Wednesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., to be streamed via DTI’s Facebook page and YouTube account.
Interested participants may also visit the nearest Negosyo Centers to watch.
The first module on June 26 will focus on uplifting businesses through digitization and scaling operations, while module 2 on July 24 will guide owners on expanding their market reach through online marketing tactics.
The third module on August 28 is on sustainable capital building and financial management, while the September 25 session will focus on product selection, quality control, and sustainable sourcing.
The online sessions will end on October 23, with strategies to streamline and optimize business operations.
