DUMANGAS National High School claimed the secondary boys and girls titles in the 2018 Iloilo City Developmental Volleyball League Season 4 in La Paz, Iloilo City.
Led by Joanne Margaret Coronado, Dumangas captured the secondary girls crown with a come-from-behind 21-25, 18-25, 25-21, 26-24, 15-10 victory over La Paz National High School on Sunday.
Dethroned champion Central Philippine University, meanwhile, claimed the third place trophy in the category that was participated by 16 other schools all over Iloilo City.
Dumangas NHS also won the secondary boys trophy after taking down Buenavista National High School 25-21, 25-17, 25-19. Neo Jean Avelino anchored Dumangasâ title run.
The ICDVL now has the elementary boys and girls and Open menâs and womenâs categories left.
Sixty-two teams participated in six categories of the competitions initiated by the Iloilo City governmentâs Sports Development Division./PN
