BACOLOD City – A Dutch man was shot and robbed by four suspects around 9:45 p.m. on Burgos Street, Barangay 12.
Police Station 1 identified the victim as Jalal Azimi, 53.
Azimi was riding a tricycle with a certain “Rose,” an alleged pimp, and a certain “Cassandra,” a minor, to Midtown Hotel in corner Rizal and Lacson streets, Barangay 24.
Two male suspects identified as “Alex” and ‘Toto Lapu” were following them and shot Azimi with an unknown firearm, the police said.
The four suspects took the victim’s bag containing his passport, his helper’s identification card, four credit cards, a Sony Xperia cellphone, a Rolex watch, a gold necklace, and cash around P150,000.
The police said the suspects ran away with a tricycle.
Azimi refused medical assistance from 117 and 911. He also did not want to be confined in a hospital.
Police said he was uncooperative in the investigation./PN
