BACOLOD City – President Rodrigo Duterte will be arriving in the city later today for the campaign rally of Partido Demokratiko Pilipino ng Bayan (PDP-Laban).
The Grupo Progreso, led by Evelio Leonardia, will be hosting the PDP-Laban senatorial candidates’ political assembly.
The activity will start around 4 p.m. at the Pope John Paul II Tower at the Reclamation Area.
Last month, GP also signed an alliance with the regional party Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) for mutual support and cooperation for the May 13 elections.
The alliance agreement was signed by Leonardia and Davao City mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, chairwoman of HNP, during the campaign rally for senatorial candidates held at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan on March 25./PN
