MANILA – Malacañang has opted not to comment on the latest tirades made by former president Rodrigo Duterte against President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) decided to stay silent on
Duterte again remarked that the Chief Executive was “bangag” or drug addict, and also slammed the high price of rice.
“No comment,” PCO acting secretary Cesar Chavez told Palace reporters.
Duterte made the tirades during PDP Laban’s proclamation rally on Thursday night at Club Filipino, where he endorsed the senatorial bets under their slate.
In January 2024, Duterte also called Marcos “bangag”, only to take it back the following month, saying he never accused Marcos of being into illegal drugs./PN
