ILOILO City – A resident of Lapuz district woke up to find one of their appliances missing.

The 37-year-old Janice Bejarasco Bugtong believes their Sharp digital video disc (DVD) player had been stolen.

Bugtong woke up at around 2 a.m. on Oct. 9 and felt like someone was inside their house.

She did not mind yet and went back to sleep, a police report showed.

When she woke up again at around 5 a.m., she discovered that their front door was open and their DVD player worth P2,500 gone.

Police in La Paz district were still investigating the incident./PN
