TALISAY City – The Dynamic Builders FC and Bacchus FC emerged as Cup and Plate championS in the 2nd Negros Occidental Football Association (NOFA) Masskara 9-A-Side Tournament – Veterans held at the Sta. Maria Football Field here.
Archie Bayquin converted on a free kick and the Dynamic Builders FC took home the Cup championship with a 3–2 victory over XMail FC-Malaysia.
Also part of the Dynamic FC team were captain Miguel Rivero, Dave Javellana, Mike Benedicto, John Carmona, Fabio Da Silva, Jean Paul Ndo Ngoo, Oro Winer, Junior Palomo, Fr. Amber Tiongson, Louie Yasay, Toto Torbela, John Encia, Val Macasero, Andrew Infante, and Peter Avinante.
Bacolod United FC, meanwhile, settled for a second runner-up finish after winning their battle for third place.
Meanwhile, Bacchus FC won over Real Negrense FC to clinch the Plate championship.
Completing the competitors during the 2nd NOFA Masskara bootfest were Old School FC-Dumaguete, Erco FC-Cebu and Silay FC.
The tournament, which was supervised by tournament commissioner Montano “Taroc” Mondia III, aimed at promoting Negros Province, the MassKara Festival, and strengthen camaraderie among the local veteran teams and Malaysia./PN
