BACOLOD City – Two brothers were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Purok Paglaum, Barangay Alicante, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental.
Senior Inspector Rhojn Darell Nigos, officer-in-charge of the E.B. Magalona police station, identified them as the 45-year-old Joemar de la Rama and 22-year-old Donovan de la Rama. Both were residents of the village.
The de la Ramas were caught after they sold shabu to an undercover officer for P500 around 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, a police report showed.
Recovered from their possession were three sachets of shabu and two lighters, police said.
The de la Ramas were detained at the E.B. Magalona police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
