ILOILO City – A 54-year-old electric bicycle (e-bike) driver was arrested in a buy-bust operation by the Iloilo City Police Station 1 (ICPS1) in Barangay Pala-Pala 2, City Proper district on Monday night, June 3.
Police Captain Roque C. Gimeno III, chief of ICPS1, said suspect Reynaldo “Boboy” Laos, a resident of Barangay Sto. Rosario Duran, City Proper, was caught in possession of 14 plastic sachets of suspected shabu weighing around 20 grams and valued at approximately P136,000.
Also recovered was P6,000 in buy-bust money and non-drug-related items.
The suspect was detained at the ICPS1 custodial facility.
He is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
