MANILA – Emilio Aguinaldo College (EAC) Generals of the NCAA is set to conduct an open tryout for Western Visayas-based basketball players ahead their Season 96 campaign later this year.
The open tryout for the Region VI players aged 21 and below is slayed at 1 p.m. – onwards on Feb. 1 at the Santa Clarita International School in Puerto Real Subdivision, La Paz, Iloilo City.
“This tryout is open to all Western Visayas players ages 21 and below. There were no specific positions needed so everyone is welcome,” said Primes head coach and event organizer Rodel Camacho.
Camacho added that Generals head coach Oliver Bunyi will personally come over to see the tryout and select players who can be recruited to play for the EAC.
The Generals are optimistic on improving their ninth place finish in last year’s NCAA season after winning four out of eighteen matches with Bunyi as the head coach./PN
