ANOTHER real estate project in this city is open for occupancy.
Eagle Crest Condominium, which is strategically located at Mission Road in Jaro district, officially opened last July 29 in line with the celebration of the 45th Anniversary of AJ Ledesma Construction Corporation.
AJ Ledesma Construction Corporation, the name behind Eagle Crest Condominium, boasts of the strategic location of the project as it is near four big universities and two hospitals in Iloilo City.
Eagle Crest is composed of 100 residential units and 10 units for commercial lease. In the next three months, these commercial spaces will be occupied by a 24/7 convenience store, water refilling and laundry stations, mini gym and an Internet shop, among other, according to Engr. Alexander Ledesma, proprietor of AJ Ledesma Construction Inc.
Meanwhile, the residential units are composed of one-bedroom, two-bedroom and studio-type with garden units.
The one-bedroom unit measures about 30 square meters and is perfect for singles who want to live independently.
The two-bedroom units, on the other hand, measure about 40 square meters and suited for small and starting families.
Furthermore, the studio type unit measures 21 to 24 square meters, making it perfect for the lifestyle of students and young professionals.
When asked about their difference among other condominiums in Iloilo City, Ledesma said that Eagle Crest has standby generators that can supply electricity to the whole building in case of power interruptions. They also have water pumps and common areas for their residents to provide convenience at all times.
Aside from that, Eagle Crest Condominium also boasts of reasonable prices as each unit averagely costs P1.5 to 1.6 million pesos.
âWe are roughly lower than other condos in the city by 20 to 30 percent,â Ledesma noted.
The units in Eagle Crest Condominium are now 70 percent sold.
Meanwhile, still as part of the opening of the condominium and also in line with the 45th anniversary of AJ Ledesma Construction Corporation, they have donated funds for the repair of the classrooms of Kawayan Elementary School in Carles, Iloilo that were destroyed by typhoon âYolanda.â The donation is part of the companyâs Corporate Social Responsibility on Social Entrepreneurship Awareness.
Other than the Eagle Crest Condominium, AJ Ledesma Construction Corporation is also currently focusing on low-cost housing in Iloilo City. Among its recent projects were the Villa Carolina and Hacienda Sta. Ana.
Also, before the year ends, Ledesma disclosed that the company will start the construction of a 100-unit town homes project in La Granja in La Paz district./PN
