Police Major Shella Mae Sangrines, ICPO spokesperson, confirmed that the demonstration organized by various progressive groups proceeded without disruptions.
The rally started at 3:27 p.m. in front of the Iloilo Provincial Capitol along Bonifacio Drive.

Around 300 protesters from groups PISTON, Bayan Panay, Bayan Muna, Gabriela, and ACT and Kabataan party-lists carried banners and chanted slogans addressing issues such as human rights, press freedom, labor rights, and economic reforms.
They also condemned President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s decision not to declare February 25, the EDSA People Power Revolution anniversary, as a non-working holiday.
Participants also demanded accountability from former president Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Sara Duterte, with placards saying, “Convict Sara DU Now!” and “Impeach Sara Duterte Now!”/PN
