BACOLOD City – A 68-year-old woman living alone was stabbed to death at Sitio Tambulogan in Barangay Orong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Resident Margarita Emperado bore stabbed wounds on the neck, left chest and lower stomach.
According to police investigators, Emperado’s body was found stuffed in a bloodied sack inside her store around 6 a.m. on Sept. 17.
They believed that the crime was a case of robbery as things inside the victim’s store were strewn all around.
Officers of the Kabankalan City police station have yet to identify the suspect/s. Investigation is ongoing./PN
