BACOLOD City – A dismissed policeman was arrested for violating the election gun ban.
He was 52-year-old Dante Victor Escorpion of Silay City, Negros Occidental, a police said.
Escorpion was nabbed while attending a hearing at the Hall of Justice on Wednesday, the police added.
Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) served the arrest warrant, which the court issued in relation to the Comelec gun ban violation case he faces in 2018.
