ILOILO City – A house in Barangay Infante, Molo district lost its electric meter to thieves.
The thievery likely happened around 5:45 a.m. on Sunday, Rommel Villaruel, 49, told the Molo police station.
That time, his house was in total darkness but he thought there was merely a brownout, said Villaruel.
Later in the day, however, he discovered the truth.
As he was leaving the house, Villaruel said, he checked an electric post of Panay Electric Co. where his electric meter was supposedly attached; but it was not there anymore./PN
