BACOLOD City – The Murcia police have subjected for autopsy the body of a 17-year-old boy who was found dead in a cock farm on Thursday.
Mario Jenio Dulla Jr., a resident of Barangay Minoyan in the town, sustained a burn on his right armpit. He was found near the cyclone wire that serves as the fence of the cock farm. Beside his body was a knife, investigation said.
Police authorities are still determining if the victim died of electrocution or was intentionally killed.
Senior Inspector Hector Balbon said the victim’s slippers were put on his elbows and his head was also covered with shirt.
A sack was also found about three meters away from him.
Police theorized that he may have been suspected as a thief of fighting cocks as it was reported recently that there was a rampant stealing in the cock farm.
Police did not disclose the owner of the cock farm./PN
