ELISSE Joson went candid when asked about her current status with rumored boyfriend Hashtags member Jameson Blake. In an interview with Boy Abunda, she was asked if the two of them have broken up, to which she answered: “Hindi naman naging kami.”
While she did share that the two of them went out a couple of times, the relationship didn’t really become official. She also said that they didn’t reach the point where they said “I love you” to each other.
She did share, however, that Jameson made his intentions towards her clear. “He made it clear na may gusto syang mangyari…may gusto syang mapuntahan sa kung ano man yung amin ngayon.” In fact, he said it directly to her mother.
When asked about their current status, Elisse admitted that they don’t speak to each other that much anymore—though not because there is any bad blood between them. “We’re in that level of friendship Tito Boy na komportable kami sa isa’t-isa. Hindi na kami masydo nag-uusap because I think I also showed na ngayon, ang kaya ko lang talaga ibigay is friendship.”
Elisse and Jameson were first rumored to be going out earlier this year. Jameson, who is in the same group as McCoy de Leon—Elisse’s ex—shared in an earlier interview that he talked to his bandmate about his intentions. “It was like this: Are you going to fight for love over friendship? That’s why communication with McCoy was important. That’s why I talked to him, instead of just being quiet and going along with what I wanted.”
McCoy, on the other, also clarified that everything is well between him and James. “Acceptance is important. Wala na ‘yon. Okay naman kami.” (Push)
