SHE had her hands over her head as she tried to come up with an excuse not to answer a question about whether Julian Trono is her boyfriend. But in the end, she just couldn’t deny it anymore.
For the first time, Ella Cruz referred to her love-team partner as her “boyfriend” during her interview on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on Wednesday.
This, after being asked: “Is he a faithful boyfriend?”
To which she, after a bit of urging, replied: “Yes po.”
Talks of a romance between the two began last year, after Trono acknowledged his plans to court the actress.
Since then, however, both have been mum about their status, saying that they prefer it if their relationship didn’t have labels.
Their pairing shot to fame after they partnered for dance videos, the most popular of which is one they did set to Bruno Mars’ “Versace on the Floor.” It has more than 5.1 million views on YouTube.
Cruz was on the late-night talk show to promote her newly released thriller flick, “Cry No Fear.” In it, she plays one of two feuding sisters who find themselves in the company of killers as they’re trapped inside their home because of a typhoon.
It is directed by Richard Somes, who has helmed numerous horror flicks and has a reputation for showing violence and blood. (ABS-CBN News)
