ELIAS Modesto, the son of former couple Ellen Adarna and John Lloyd Cruz, has turned three.
For his third birthday on Sunday, two separate celebrations were held for Elias – one with his father and another with his mother and her fiancé Derek Ramsay.
Ellen and John Lloyd became a couple in 2017 then parted ways in 2019, just over a year after they welcomed Elias.
Previously, Ellen revealed that she has a “co-parenting setup” with John Lloyd.
She also described her former partner as a “present father” to their son.
In an exclusive interview with G3 San Diego for Mega Entertainment, John Lloyd, who recently made his showbiz comeback, opened up about being a first-time parent with Ellen.
“Parang pang pelikula lang pala yung ano – ‘yung parang nalaman mo parang, magiging tatay na ako! Para sa akin hindi. Kung ano ‘yung nangyari sa akin, hindi. Baka naman sa iba, totoo ‘yun and you can never tell kung ‘yun ay totoo o hindi… Pero para sa akin… We wanted it eh. Alam naman na namin na it was going to happen,” he said.
Ellen is now engaged to Derek, who also has a son with his former wife Mary Christine Jolly.
The couple announced their engagement in March, just a month after they admitted their relationship.(Push)
